How to provide revenue and income for opening a video game arcade venue

We have an old client who runs a chain of arcades and mentioned discovering an issue: some of their arcade stores have low turnout in the simulation zones, while others see heavy usage. However, when tallied, these simulation areas generate minimal revenue. He now considers skipping this section when opening new locations, but ignoring the simulation zones entirely would likely leave the entire arcade struggling to build buzz. Therefore, the key takeaway for arcade owners is that simulation zones are crucial—they must be well-developed to drive foot traffic. These machines serve as the primary draw, and once popularity builds, we should then focus on creating high-revenue areas. Forcing the simulation zone to become the main profit driver may lead to losses. Thus, we don’t advocate stocking only high-end machines or going all low-end to cheapen the venue. The optimal approach lies in thoughtful, venue-specific combinations. If you’re unsure how to configure the machines or design high-revenue zones, feel free to leave a comment in the discussion section
